A visual timer for young children

A timer young children can see.

"Five more minutes" can be hard for a young child to picture. A shape that visibly gets smaller gives the remaining time a concrete visual. Sprout shows how much longer is left without asking anyone to read a clock.

What Sprout does

Pick a routine. A ring fills the screen and slowly empties. When it is gone, a sound plays and a star is earned. Four worlds each show time a different way: a garden that grows, an ocean that empties, a rocket that flies, and a reef that lights up.

Who this site is for

App Store reviewers, parents using the app, and anyone who needs the official support or privacy pages for Sprout.

Built for the child, and for the person holding the phone

Sprout does one thing. There is no feed, no streak to break, no reason for a child to want more of it once the timer is done.

No tracking or account backend

No account, no sign-in, no ads, no analytics, no tracking. Sprout makes no collection or transmission of personal data for the developer. Purchases and restores use Apple's StoreKit service.

Parent-only controls

Stopping a running timer takes a deliberate hold, not a tap. The parent zone and purchase options use the device's system authentication. If the device has no passcode, Sprout uses an adult multiplication challenge instead.

One purchase, not a subscription

The Garden world is included. Everything else unlocks once, for your whole family, and stays unlocked.
