Toned

These terms cover your use of Toned, an iPhone app that exposes your photographs onto simulated film and prints them, entirely on your device. By downloading or using Toned, you agree to them.
Toned is provided as-is. It runs entirely on your device: there is no account, no server, and no cloud. You are responsible for the photographs you open and the prints you make with it.
Your photographs and the prints you make are yours. Toned does not claim any ownership of them and never uploads or stores them anywhere. Only open photographs you have the right to use, and make sure anything you share or sell respects the rights of anyone shown in the original.
Toned is free to use. The optional one-time Toned Plus unlock is a non-consumable in-app purchase handled entirely by Apple through the App Store and tied to your Apple ID. There is no subscription. Refunds are handled by Apple under the App Store terms; the developer cannot issue them directly.
The film stock and paper names inside Toned identify the emulsions whose published behaviour the simulations are built from. They are used descriptively. Toned is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any film or paper manufacturer.
Do not attempt to reverse engineer, resell, or redistribute the app itself, and do not use it to break the law or infringe someone else's rights.
Toned is provided without warranties of any kind. To the extent allowed by law, the developer is not liable for any loss arising from your use of the app. Always keep your own copies of photographs that matter to you.
These terms may be updated as the app changes. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms. The current version always lives on this page.
