Privacy Policy

Meridian does not collect, sell, or share your personal data. There is no Meridian account, no advertising, no analytics, and no tracking.

Saved clocks and preferences

Your saved clock coordinates, focus, order, and preferences are stored on your devices. When iCloud is available, Meridian uses Apple's iCloud service to keep this information in sync between devices signed in to your Apple Account. The developer does not operate a server and cannot access the contents of your private iCloud data.

Location

Meridian asks for location permission only after you choose Current Location while adding a clock. It sends the coordinates to Apple's map services to resolve the place and time zone. Meridian stores the resolved coordinates with the saved clock, and they may sync through your private iCloud account. Solar calculations run on your device. The developer cannot access these coordinates. You can use manual city selection without granting location permission.

Search and map information

When you search for a city, Meridian uses Apple's system location and map services to resolve the place and its time zone. Those services are governed by Apple's privacy policy. Meridian does not send this information to the developer or to advertising and analytics services.

Purchases

The optional one-time Meridian Plus unlock is handled by Apple through the App Store. Meridian never sees your payment information. Purchase status is tied to your Apple Account and may be cached on your device so the app and its extensions can honor the unlock.

Data collection

None. Meridian contains no third-party advertising, analytics, or tracking SDKs. The developer does not receive usage data, saved clocks, precise location, or purchase payment information from the app.

Children

Meridian is suitable for all ages and does not knowingly collect personal data from anyone.
