Your videos and edits

InkWaltz processes your videos on your device. The app does not upload your videos, audio, recipes or edits to the developer. No InkWaltz account is required.

Local storage and deletion

The app keeps copies of imported videos, drafts, presets and finished movies in its local storage so you can return to your work. Delete drafts from Home and imported or personal presets from All presses. Deleting a preset does not change the recipe copies saved in existing drafts.

Deleting the app removes its local data. Movies you save to Photos or Files remain there until you delete them separately. Device backups and services such as iCloud Photos may retain copies according to your Apple settings.

Photos and sharing

You choose videos with the system picker. InkWaltz asks for permission to add to Photos only when you save a finished movie. You can change this permission in system Settings, or share your movie to Files instead.

When you choose a sharing destination, the selected movie is passed to that app or service. Its privacy practices apply to the copy you share.

Purchases

Apple handles payments for InkWaltz Plus. InkWaltz uses StoreKit to check purchase ownership and restore access. The developer does not receive your payment-card details through the app.

Optional notifications

You can separately choose news and offers in InkWaltz Settings. Notifications are optional, and declining them does not limit editing or export. We ask for Apple's notification permission only when you choose to enable notifications.

If you subscribe, our notification service stores a random installation identifier, an Apple push token, your app and language, notification preferences, consent version and registration revision. It also records delivery attempts and when you open a notification, to manage delivery, prevent duplicates and limit frequency. These records are linked to that installation, not an InkWaltz account. We do not upload your photos, videos, drafts or edits.

Cloudflare hosts this service and any images shown in notification cards; Apple delivers push notifications. These providers process technical request information needed to operate and secure their services. We do not sell notification records, combine them across apps, or share them for third-party advertising or tracking.

Turning off both notification choices removes the delivery token from our active registry once the app connects. A consent record remains to prevent delayed requests from subscribing you again. Delivery records are retained to prevent repeat sends and operate the service. You can disable delivery immediately in system Settings. For questions about retained records, contact us at the address below. Cloudflare's backup retention may delay removal from backups.

Tracking and analytics

InkWaltz does not include advertising, tracking or third-party analytics. It reads local file metadata to validate and manage your drafts and media; this information is not sent to the developer by the app.

If you email us, we receive your email address and the information you choose to send. We use that information to respond to your request and retain correspondence as needed to provide support and meet legal obligations. You can request deletion by email. Please do not send private videos or payment details.
