This page explains how to request or complete account deletion for GIF Battles.

In-App Deletion

If account self-deletion is available for your account, you can request deletion from inside the app:

1. Open the app.
2. Go to Profile.
3. Use the Delete account action.
4. Confirm the deletion request when prompted.

When this flow succeeds, the app attempts to remove your application profile data and then delete the associated account through the authentication provider.

If In-App Deletion Is Not Available

If the in-app deletion option is unavailable or fails, contact:

Include the email address associated with your account and state that you are requesting account deletion.

What Deletion Covers

Account deletion is intended to remove or disable access to your account and associated application profile data.

Depending on technical, legal, fraud-prevention, moderation, billing, or compliance requirements, some records may be retained for a limited period or in a limited form, including:

• transaction or billing records
• security and abuse-prevention logs
• legal compliance records
• content or activity records that must be retained to protect the integrity of the service or comply with law

Processing Time

Deletion requests are typically processed within 48 hours.
